The 32,000-square-foot location includes a produce department supplied in part by 50 local businesses, as well as a full-service butcher, a prepared foods section, a seafood department and a full-service coffee bar. In addition to an in-house bakery, the store will also serve up offerings from area bakeries Balthazar, Abe Muffins and By The Way Bakery, according to published reports.
Located at 1400 Waterfront Terrace, Whole Foods will be open seven days from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
